As 2014 draws to a close, we reflect on highs and lows of the year past. While reading through the Scooby Medina Blog, it’s certainly comes with smiles and tears.
There were so many rescues, so many new faces arriving through the gates of Scooby. Not just those of galgos, but many mix breeds, both small and big, young and old. Many new cats, ferrets and farm animals were saved by the shelter.
There was new life and new angels. We wept for those who were caught and those who escaped. We celebrated adoptions all over the world and as transports left the gates, we waited to see photos of the precious dogs to arrive in their new homes.
Scooby supporters stepped up to challenge when urgent pleas were made. We truly believe, “It’s not what you give, but that’s it’s in you to give” and that is why Scooby was able to save so many souls this year.
Although Scooby Canada is half a world a way, we are able to help in a very big way. With your support, we can grow our community and help Scooby Medina even more this year.
Below is a snapshot of some of the Scooby rescues and adoptions from 2014. From all over the world, we did this together!
In 2015, let’s continue to make a difference for the animals in Spain! Stay tuned for projects that we are working on!
In the mean time, visit our website to learn more on how you can help. And remember, sometimes it’s just a simple “share” to open one more persons eyes.
